Tinder’s Global Mode is the dating app’s new bet. With the feature that removes filters from geographic restrictions, it is possible to see people from other countries within the app, regardless of the user’s location and completely free.

“Our Generation Z members have told us for a while that they want to meet people around the world and our new world order, combined with their distinct global scale. me, reinforcing that need. We have plans to open up geofilters and now we speed them up, ”the company said Cnet This Thursday (21).

This is another move by Tinder in the wake of the new coronavirus crisis, while the government applies social quarantine or isolation measures to fight the disease. In March, the company released the free use of Passport, a feature unlike the Global mode, that “sends” users to different cities to meet other people before their travels.

The global mode tests are expected to start next week. According to Tinder, this new feature will be released to all users in the coming months.
